Crafted with the expertise of 11th generation tequila maker Juan Dobel, the Maestro Dobel 50 Anniversary Series is a portfolio of rare aged tequilas that have been finished in some of the rarest casks in the world.
Handcrafted in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, using 100% Blue Weber agave expertly grown for twelve years and sourced from a single-family estate, each of the highest quality spirits in the series has been aged for a minimum of seven years. They are then finished in different rare casks, resulting in sophisticated, distinct flavour profiles and exceptionally smooth tequila.
Maestro Dobel Tequila continues to evolve the Extra Añejo category with Maestro Dobel 50 Tequila 1973. The 1973 Edition commemorates a vintage year for rock and roll and
a renewed hope for the future, integrating the finest Extra Añejo tequilas, aged in new American toasted oak and the rarest Pedro Ximénez wine barrels.
COLOUR: An intensely bright, amber-coloured tequila with coppery and golden sparkles.
AROMA: Honey and caramel can be distinguished and followed by notes of ripe fruit such as dates, cherries, raisins, and figs.
TASTE: An explosion of flavours. A very harmonious tequila between what the nose suggests and what our palate confirms with a caramel sweetness, hints of red fruits and delicate toasted wood.
FINISH: A smooth and robust tequila, with a long and profound finish.
